YUNGA CRUZ 5 Days
This pre-inca road called Yunga Cruz, allow us to join the High Plateau and the temperate valleys of the south extreme of La Paz with the sub tropical of the Yungas, to finish in Chulumani town. This trek also allow us to know completely the Illimani snow-capped mountain domains.
Day 1. LA PAZ – KHALA CIUDAD Departure from La Paz at 07:00 am. To the “Valle de la Ánimas”, where the natural erosion has created spectacular formations, to arrive to the north east of Illimani where we begin the five hours trek.
Day 2. KHALA CIUDAD – SOLAKA PUNTA After we pass by the Yunga Cruz slopes at 3.921 m., last view point of Illimani, we descend to the high valleys of the trek, six hours.
Day 3. SOLAKA PUNTA – SIKILINI We continue descending to the last camp, five hours.
Day 4. SIKILINI – CHULUMANI After four hors trek we arrive to Chulumani, a quiet and charming town. Hotel accommodation.
Day 5. CHULUMANI – LA PAZ After four hors trip we arrive to La Paz city.
