EL CHORO TREK 3 Days
The pre-Columbian road called “El Choro” has the same characteristics as the Inca trail in Cusco, an unforgettable landscape of the Royal Mountain Range and the high valleys of the Yungas, which is characterized by the millennial coca leaves.
Day 1. LA PAZ – CHALLAPAMPA Departure from La Paz at 08:00 am. in transport to “La Cumbre”, with a short trek we rise until the 4.900 m. After that we descend to Challapampa until 2.500 m. where we camp the first night, six hours trek.
Day 2. CHALLAPAMPA – SANDILLANI
Departure from Challapampa at 08:30 am. and in two hours we arrive to Choro at 2.200 m. enjoying the beautiful warm weather and exuberant vegetation and animals, we arrive to the second camp at 2.050 m. Sandillani
Day 3. SANDILLANI – COROICO We continue from Sandillani to Chairo at 1.300 m., four to five hours trek, from there we get the transport to Coroico. INCLUDES :
NOT INCLUDED : Sun glasses, sleeping bag, wrapped clothes, normal gloves, backpack (60 litres or more), small backpack (5 litres or more), frontal lamp.
