COPACABANA - SUN ISLAND 2 Days
Day 1.
Departure from La Paz city at 08:00 am. enjoying the beautiful landscape of the Royal Mountain Range and the Titicaca Lake, afterwards we arrive to the Tiquina Strait (we cross it by motor launch during twenty minutes) we continue and we arrive to Copacabana at 12:00 pm. hotel accommodation at an altitude of 3.845 m. After lunch we continue sailing the Titicaca Lake during an hour and a half to moor in the south part of the Sun Island and to visit two archaeologic sites : Pilkokaina and Yumani (the staircases and the Sacred Inca Fountain). Afterwards we come back to Copacabana at 17:30 pm. Day 2.
A city tour in the morning to visit the beautiful Cathedral of Copacabana’s Virgin, the Indian and the handicrafts’ market, a short hike to “El Calvario” at 4.020 m. to enjoy the beautiful and panoramic view of Titicaca Lake and the bolivian and Peruvian frontier. Later we come back to La Paz. INCLUDES : COPACABANA – SUN AND MOON ISLANDS - 3 Days tour Day 1.

Day 2.
After breakfast we have a hike from the south to the north during three hours passing through high points above 4.000 m. to arrive to the archaeologic site called Chincana (labyrinth), we go down to Challapampa Community. After lunch we continue sailing to the Moon Island (Iñak Uyu). Return to Copacabana at 17:30 pm. Hotel accommodation. Day 3.
