SORATA TO COROICO - 18 Days
Day 1. LA PAZ – SORATA Departure from La Paz in transport to Sorata town, beautiful and flowered valley at the bottom of Illampu snow-capped mountain at an altitude of 2.800 m. where we stay the first night in a hotel.
Day 2. SORATA – JANQ’U UMA We continue the trip until Janq’u Uma high valley situated in the slopes of the North-Oriental side of Illampu. Camp at 3.900 m.
Day 3. JANQ’U UMA – COCOYO After two hours trek we arrive to Kurahuaside pass at 4.475 m. after that we descend until 3.900 m. in a six hours trek.
Day 4. COCOYO – CH’AJOLPAYA After, two hours ascension to Saranide pass at 4.500 m. From there we see the Warawarani (Negruni) show-capped mountain and others. So we descend until the camp in six hours trek.
Day 5. CH’AJOLPAYA – CHACAPA Silasani pass at 4.650 m., after we descend to the camp by Chacapa river in six hours trek.
Day 6. CHACAPA – PALCA Keakeani pass at 4.450 m. A descent to the valley near Amawaya until we arrive to Palca camp at 3.900j m. in five hours trek.
Day 7. PALCA – HUARIHUARANI We continue to Hankolacayaa pass at 4.700jm. to descend to Amawaya valley at 4.450 m. in 6 hours trek.
Day 8. HUARIHUARANI – JANQ’U QUTA Hanq’u Qutaa pass at 4.950 m., for this place we pass through the Royal Mountain Range and we descend to Janq’u Quta valley a cmp near Quta Thiya lagoon at 4.420 m.
Day 9. JANQ’U QUTA – AJWANI A pass at 4.600 m. We walk around the Cheqapa slopes where we see abandoned gold mines. We go up to Ajwani to camp at 4.700 m.
Day 10. AJWANI – JURI QUTA
After 6 hours trek we have the Janchallani pass at 4.860 m. to go to the second pass called Juri Quta at 4.900 m. where we camp.
Day 11. JURI QUTA – CONDORIRI We go to the highest pass of the trek called Apacheta at 5.200 m., after we descend until Chiara Qutade lagoon at 4.700 m. is the same camp to climb different mountains like Condoriri and others.
Day 12. We stay in the Condoriri National park.
Day 13. CONDORIRI – LIVIÑOSA
Two passes at 5.000 m. After we descend to Liviñosa Valley we arrive to Ancoma at 3.750 m. in a 6 hours trek.
Day 14. LIVIÑOSA – UMA PALCA We go up to Tiquimani pass at 4.800 m. to descend to the Uma Palca at 4.500 m. to see the landscape of lagoons and to descend to the camp in five hours.
Day 15. UMA PALCA – ZANJA PAMPA We go up to Zanja pass 4.500 m. enjoying the lanscapes, lagoons and descent to camp in five hours.
Day 16. ZANJA PAMPA – CHORO VALLEY We continue with an hour of ascension, from where we see the beautiful landscape with high valley to descend to Chucura, and to continue in the “Camino del Inca” (Choro Trail) and we go into the Yungas passing through Challapampa and we arrive to Choro camp.
Day 17. CHORO – SANDILLANI From Choro we go to Pabellonani Hill, enjoying the beautiful landscape and the warm climate, and so we arrive to another camp in five hours.
Day 18. SANDILLANI – COROICO We take the direction to Chairo at 1.300 m. where we get the transport to Coroico in flour hours.

NOT INCLUDED : Sun glasses, sleeping bag, wrapped clothes, normal gloves, backpack (60 litres or more), small backpack (5 litres or more), frontal lamp.
