ILLIMANI (6.490 m - 21.195 ft)

Climbing 4 Days

Day 1. LA PAZ – BASE CAMP

Departure from La Paz at 08:00 am. in four hours trip we arrive to Pinaya (4.200 m.) Afterwards the three hours hike to the base camp where we spend the first night.

Day 2. BASE CAMP – NIDO DE CONDORES

We continue with a five hours hike to the high camp at 5.500 m. called “Nido de Cóndores” where we spend the second night.

Day 3. SUMMIT – BASE CAMP

Departure at 01:00 am. with six to seven hours climb we arrive to the summit, after we return in three hours climb we arrive to the high camp, following we return in three hours to the base camp where we spend the last night.

Day 4. PINAYA – LA PAZ

After breakfast we return to Pinaya to get the transport to comeback to La Paz.

In regard to the climbing gear we have plastic boots, crampons, harness, ice axe, jacket, trousers, gloves, gaiters, cap, mattress and tent.
