CABEZA DE CONDOR (5.700 m - 18.0696 ft)

Climbing 3 Days

Day 1. LA PAZ – BASE CAMP

Departure from La Paz at 08:00 am. after two hours and a half trip we arrive to Tuni Condoriri lagoon at 4.200 m. where we leave the vehicle. We begin a three hours hike to the base camp at 4.700 m.

Day 2. AUSTRIA PEAK

After breakfast at 09:00 we begin a hike to the Austria peak in three hours at 5.200 m. We return to the base camp to stay the second night.

Day 3. SUMMIT – LA PAZ

At 01:00 am. we prepare the equipment and breakfast, we go to the summit of the “Cabeza de Cóndor” at 5.700 m., seven hours ascension. Later we continue with the three hours descent until the base camp to get the vehicle to come back to La Paz city.
