ALA IZQUIERDA (5.532 m - 18.149 ft)
Day 1. LA PAZ – BASE CAMP Departure from La Paz at 08:00 am., after two hours and a half trip we arrive to Tuni Condoriri lagoon at 4.400 where we leave the transport. Later we begin the three hours hike to the base camp at 4.200 m.
Day 2. AUSTRIA PEAK After breakfast at 09:00 am. we begin a hike to the Austria Peak at 5.200 m. and we return to the base camp to stay the second night.
Day 3. SUMMIT – LA PAZ At 01:00 am. we prepare the equipment and breakfast, we go to the summit of the Left Wing at 5.532 m. seven hours ascension. Later we continue with the three hours descent to the base camp to get the return transport to La Paz city.
INCLUDES :
In regard to the climbing gear we have plastic boots, crampons, harness, ice axe, jacket, trousers, gloves, gaiters, cap, mattress and tent. NOT INCLUDED : Sun glasses, sleeping bag, wrapped clothes, normal gloves, backpack (60 litres or more), small backpack (5 litres or more), frontal lamp.
